Georgina Truman
Manager, Athlete Relations & Operations

Georgina Truman is the Manager, Athlete Relations and Operations at AthletesCAN. In her role, she is responsible for administration, programs and services, communications, athlete relations, and events. Before her current role, Georgina has held different positions within the organization including Operations Intern, and Content Curator.  

Her experiences as a multi-sport athlete in her youth translated into a passion for the sport industry and strong connection to athlete-centred sport. Prior to joining AthletesCAN, she developed experience in the recreation, university, and non-profit sport sectors in communications, marketing, and client relations.  

She holds a master’s degree of human kinetics with specialization in sports management and bachelor's degree of human kinetics from the University of Ottawa. Georgina enjoys outdoor recreation and volunteering in sport sector, most notedly for 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup. 

Dulmi Hill, Operations Assistant Intern

Dulmi Hill will be joining AthletesCAN as the Operations Intern. In her role she will be providing assistance in various areas including but not limited to event management, program support, membership services, communication, and diversity and equity. Her experiences as a lacrosse player and coach were important factors in her decision to pursue a career in sport. Prior to her current role Dulmi has been an intern with Own the Podium and Orienteering Ottawa. She is currently a graduate student in Sport Business Management at Algonquin College and holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Kinetics from the University of Ottawa. Dulmi enjoys outdoor recreation, coaching girls field lacrosse and is an avid fan of men’s and women’s hockey. Dulmi’s aims to increase the representation of Black, Indigenous, People of Colour Athletes at the level of high-performance sport in Canada by increasing access to sport and sporting events in those communities.
